The Upper Bucks Heartland

Pennridge School District

Eleven schools across eight municipalities — small-town boroughs and farm townships united behind the Pennridge Rams.

Pennridge School District assembles a broad piece of Upper Bucks — the boroughs of Perkasie, Sellersville, Silverdale, and Dublin plus Bedminster, East Rockhill, West Rockhill, and Hilltown townships — into one of the county’s larger systems. Seven elementary schools keep the youngest students in their own boroughs and townships, three middle schools split the map, and everyone converges on Pennridge High School in Perkasie.

The single-high-school structure is the community’s glue. Pennridge Rams green shows up in every borough window in the fall, and the high school campus — expanded with a natatorium, new auditorium, and modern athletic facilities — serves as Upper Bucks’ biggest shared civic space. For buyers, the district delivers small-town Pennsylvania at prices that still undercut the county’s center.

What Stands Out

What families should know about Pennridge

Neighborhood-first elementaries

Seven K–5 schools — from Sellersville and Bedminster to West Rockhill — mean short rides and schools that belong to their villages.

One green banner

Every feeder chain ends at Pennridge High School, giving eight municipalities a single identity and one of the area’s largest high-school campuses.

Growth handled deliberately

The district has steadily expanded and renovated — new middle-school capacity, an enlarged high school — as Philadelphia’s growth ring reached Upper Bucks.

The Local's Take

Perkasie and Sellersville are where my value-minded buyers keep landing: real boroughs with parks, carousels, and Main Streets, plus townships where land is still measured in acres. Pennridge stitches all of it together — one high school, borough-scale elementaries, and a community that shows up. If you are priced out of the county’s center but want the small-town fabric, this district is the map I draw first.
